Website Project Quote Calculator

Estimate a website project price from page count, selected features, an online shop, and design level, with an itemized breakdown and a low–high price range. This is a planning estimate from typical project scopes, not a binding quote — the final price depends on the exact scope.

How the estimate is calculated

The calculator builds your estimate from five transparent parts. It starts with a $500 base price for project setup and launch basics. Then it adds $150 for every page on the site, including the homepage. Each feature you tick adds its own fixed amount: a contact form adds $150, a blog or news section adds $200, booking or appointments add $350, a multilingual version adds $400, and SEO setup adds $300. If the site needs to sell online, the online shop add-on adds $900 for products, a cart, and checkout. Finally, the design level adjusts the total: template-based design adds nothing, while custom design adds 40% to the whole subtotal.

The result is shown as a price range, not a single figure, because two websites with the same page count can still differ a lot in content, integrations, and design effort. The low end of the range is the estimate multiplied by 0.9, and the high end is the estimate multiplied by 1.2. The calculator also shows the base estimate itself, so you can see the middle figure behind the range.

Worked example: an 8-page shop website

Take an 8-page website with a contact form and a blog section, an online shop, and template-based design. The base price is $500. Pages add 8 × $150 = $1,200. The two features add $150 + $200 = $350. The shop adds $900. The subtotal is $500 + $1,200 + $350 + $900 = $2,950, and template-based design adds no uplift. The range is therefore $2,950 × 0.9 = $2,655.00 at the low end and $2,950 × 1.2 = $3,540.00 at the high end.

What is not included

Domain registration, hosting, ongoing maintenance, and content writing are not included in this model, because they are usually billed separately. If your project needs them, budget for them on top of the range shown. The currency selector only changes the symbol shown ($, £, or €) — the numbers stay exactly the same, so convert the result yourself if you need a true local-currency price.

Important: this is a planning estimate from typical project scopes, not a binding quote and not any agency’s price list. The final price depends on the exact scope, content, integrations, and design work. Use the range for budgeting, and get a real quote for an exact figure.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a binding quote?

No. This calculator gives a planning estimate from typical project scopes, not a binding quote. The final price depends on the exact scope, content, integrations, and design work, so use the range for budgeting and get a real quote for an exact figure.

Why does the result show a range instead of one price?

Because two websites with the same page count can differ a lot in content, integrations, and design effort. The low end is the estimate × 0.9 and the high end is the estimate × 1.2, so the range covers normal scope variation without pretending to be exact.

What does the $500 base price cover in this model?

In this calculator’s model, the $500 base covers project setup and launch basics. Each page is then priced at $150, and features, a shop, and the design level are added on top. These are the calculator’s own typical-scope figures, not any agency’s price list.

Does changing the currency change the amount?

No. The currency selector only changes the symbol shown ($, £, or €) — the numbers stay exactly the same. Convert the result yourself if you need a true local-currency price.

What is not included in the estimate?

Domain registration, hosting, ongoing maintenance, and content writing are not included in this model, because they are usually billed separately. If your project needs them, budget for them on top of the range shown here.

Can I use this calculator for a website redesign?

Yes. Enter the redesigned site’s page count and features the same way — the model prices the scope of the new site, whether it is built from scratch or rebuilt. A redesign that reuses existing content may still cost less in practice, which is why the result is a range.
